All apartments have finely been restored, keeping the original plasters with ancient “cotto” pavements and roofs: these old ceilings are supported by old massive rafters which are made of oak wood. The colours on the walls are relaxing and confortable: they have been obtained mixing natural clays and mineral oxides; the windows are made of cypress wood and contain double thick glasses. All fireplaces have adorned cowls with old engraved stone slabs (“pietra serena”) and the kitchens offer precious marble washstands (Bianco di Carrara, Bardiglio di Carrara, Giallo di Siena, Breccia medicea marbles).
We have particularly cared for the furniture : each piece, picture, printing or lamp has been chosen from our Tuscan private collection; all of them belong to our family since the XVIII century.
